## **Here is why:** This is covered under section 7159 of the California Business and Professions Code. Part of the changes made to contractors law recently,covered in SB30, SB1113 and AB316, included specifying the exact wording for the heading titles of common sections of your contract. The heading most commonly titled "Scope of Work" must now be titled with this exact wording specified in this part of section 7159:

## (7) The heading: "Description of the Project and Description of the Significant Materials to be Used and Equipment to be Installed" followed by a description of the project and a description of the significant materials to be used and equipment to be installed.
